Professional Development Workshop for K-12 and Community College Science Instructors

The Applied Magnetics Laboratory co-hosted a two-day professional development workshop for K-12 science teachers from neighboring rural communities. The workshop, titled “Explorations in Nanotechnology”, was organized in collaboration with the Scientists and Teachers in Education Partnerships(STEPs) program at Oregon State University and designed to provide a deeper appreciation of nanotechnology in advanced imaging techniques for medical and life sciences research.
